Beginner Series
The Beginner Series takes 5-17-year-olds from no swimming experience or skills to being able to put their head underwater and swim 6M (20ft).
All classes are taught by a Certified SSI Level 1 Swim Teacher
Beginner I
Prerequisites
- Swimmer must be no younger than 5 years old, but not older than 17
Swimming Skills Required
- None
Final Goals
- Swim 6M (20ft) With Windmill Arms
- Get Front Breath With Assistance & Resume Windmill Arms To Destination
- Must Use Arms & Legs In Forward Motion
Beginner II
Prerequisites
- Swimmer must be no younger than 5 years old, but not older than 17
Swimming Skills Required
- Swim 6M (20ft) With Windmill Arms
- Get Front Breath With Assistance & Resume Windmill Arms To Destination
- Must Use Arms & Legs In Forward Motion
Final Goals
- Swim 12M (40ft) With Windmill Arms
- Get Front Breath Independently & Resume Windmill Arms To Destination
- Must Use Arms & Legs In Forward Motion
Beginner III

- Swimmer must be no younger than 5 years old, but not older than 17

- Swim 12M (40ft) With Windmill Arms
- Get Front Breath Independently & Resume Windmill Arms To Destination
- Must Use Arms & Legs In Forward Motion
Final Goals
- Swim 12M (40ft) With Windmill Arms
- Independent Rollover Breathing
