Become an SSI Advanced Adventurer
If you cannot decide which specialty programs are the best choice for you, join the SSI Advanced Adventurer program! With this program, you can try a variety of specialties before committing to full specialty programs. It is a great way to experience what advanced diver training is all about and how valuable it can be to your diving adventures.
During the Advanced Adventurer Program, you will try out 5 different specialties. You will complete one open water training dive per specialty after a comprehensive briefing with your SSI Instructor.
With this trial program in specialty diving, you will have total freedom to explore. You can complete the full specialty programs any time in the future and credit your Advanced Adventurer training towards them.

Price:
- $495 local
- $570 Blue Hole, Santa Rosa, NM
- $605 Crater (on our monthly scheduled trips)
Requirements: Open Water Diver
Schedule: Once we have payment, we will work with you to schedule the class.
Includes:
- Experience dives in Perfect Buoyancy, Navigation, Night/Limited Vis, Search and Recovery, Enriched Air Nitrox.
- Digital material including material for many continuing education classes in the program
- 7mm wetsuit for local diving
- BCD/Reg rental
- One night lodging based on double occupancy along with entry fees for the Crater
Notes:
- Save $20 on any of the 5 specialty course fees when taken within 6 months of completing the Advanced Adventurer course from HPS.
- We do need two divers to take the class. Don’t have a friend to take class with? Let us know you are interested and we’ll try to find one or for one-on-one instruction: add $25.
